Irish Woman Suffers Permanent Nose Injury After Sunbathing, Struggles with Self-Confidence

Jessica McGirr from Ireland suffered permanent redness on her nose after a sunburn incident five years ago while vacationing in Tenerife, Spain. This condition has severely impacted her self-esteem and daily life, requiring her to cover up with heavy makeup.

At 24 years old, Jessica fell asleep without sunscreen during a yacht trip under strong sunlight for about four hours. After waking up with a swollen and burning nose, she noticed that the sunburn and blisters faded within the first week, but her nose remained red and painful two weeks later, with rough, inflamed skin and bleeding.

Despite consulting three doctors and trying various treatments, including prescriptions and IPL therapy, she has seen no improvement, leaving her feeling disillusioned and helpless. Currently living in New York, she uses SPF 50 sunscreen and heavy concealer daily, expressing a desire to find effective help.
