According to reports from German media, former U.S. President Donald Trump’s policies during his tenure are viewed as having benefitted China, resulting in an increase in China’s influence on the international stage.
The report suggests that Trump’s trade policies and tariffs on China failed to weaken the Chinese economy as he intended, and in some respects, inadvertently fostered China’s growth. His hardline stance and frequent public criticism of China unexpectedly enhanced its foothold in the global market.
