Han Guang No. 41 Drill: Showcasing HESCO Defense Structures at Dajia Beach

The 41st Han Guang drill has entered its fifth day, with the 5th operational zone's engineering troops executing 'beach and roadway obstruction' exercises at Dajia Beach in Taichung to simulate enemy force landings. The military employs HESCO defense structures to build a steel defense line and disrupt enemy advances using various obstruction materials.
During this exercise, the ROC Armed Forces mobilized two platoons, coordinating with wave-dissipating blocks and anti-tank trenches to effectively delay or prevent enemy landings, allowing time for reinforcements. Nearby residents were also restricted from entering the training area to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the exercises.
