United Airlines Launches New Kaohsiung to Tokyo Route
United Airlines held a ceremony today at Kaohsiung International Airport to launch its new 'Kaohsiung-Tokyo Narita' route. Mayor Chen Chi-mai and other key partners celebrated this milestone, welcoming travelers to the new route. The route provides convenience for both Japanese travelers and those flying from Kaohsiung to connect to major cities in the United States, showcasing Kaohsiung's potential in the international aviation market.
The flight departs Kaohsiung daily at 10:25 AM, arriving in Tokyo at 3:15 PM local time. The return flight departs Tokyo at 5:30 PM and lands back in Kaohsiung at 9:00 PM. This route will operate with a Boeing 737-800, offering 166 seats, including 16 in business class. Mayor Chen emphasized that this route not only enhances convenience for travelers in the south but also promotes international tourism and business exchanges.
