K-Pop Star Hyolyn to Perform at Penghu Music Festival, Star-Studded Lineup Revealed

South Korean pop sensation Hyolyn is set to perform at the Penghu Chase Wind Music and Light Festival in 2025. The event is organized by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau’s Penghu National Scenic Area Administration, themed "Island Paradise." Concerts will run from August 29 to September 26, spanning five consecutive Fridays, along with an additional concert on August 30, making a total of six shows at the stunning Guanyin Pavilion in Penghu.
The lineup is unprecedented, featuring Hyolyn, the hip-hop group Nine One One, and the legendary dance boy band ENERGY, among others. Dynamic diva Warm Lantern, the newly awarded TRASH, the music group Mr. Deer, the 25-year-old band Burning Fire, Golden Melody king Hsu Fu Kai, and popular group OZONE will also take the stage. Hyolyn will make a dazzling appearance on opening night, eagerly telling her Taiwanese fans, "I can’t wait to meet all of you in beautiful Penghu and create wonderful summer memories with my music!"
This marks Hyolyn's first visit to Penghu, and she expressed great excitement about the beautiful scenery, especially the Double Heart Stone Weir. "This is my first time visiting Penghu. I’ve heard that the views are stunning, and I’m excited to participate in the performances and to explore the scenic spots," she added.
Having released her summer hit "Wait" last year, Hyolyn is currently preparing for new music, aiming to deliver more diverse performances to her fans. She mentioned, "I’m planning to prepare various acts for the audience, as this is Taiwan's Hip Music Festival, and I want to provide a vibrant musical experience for everyone attending!"
