In the WTT US Open held in Las Vegas, Taiwanese star Cheng I-Ching defeated Ukrainian player Pesozyka 3-1 on the 9th, successfully advancing to the women’s singles round of 16. In her next match, she will compete against Chinese player Kuai Man for a spot in the quarterfinals.

On the men's side, Kao Cheng-Jui fell 1-3 to former world champion Wang Chuqin and did not advance to the round of 16. Cheng showcased dominance in the match, leading the first game 11-7. Although she found herself trailing 1-7 in the second game, she adjusted her rhythm and rallied back to win 11-9.

In the third game, some errors widened the gap, but she managed to close the fourth game decisively at 11-5, securing her place in the women's singles round of 16.
