Yunlin County's agriculture has once again achieved success! The Yunlin Good Rice, promoted through a collaboration between Dongyuan Grain Industry and Taiwan Youmi Industrial, has officially entered the European market, exporting to France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Switzerland. During a press conference for export promotion, County Mayor Chang Li-shan stated that this marks an important milestone for Yunlin's quality agricultural products on the international stage.

The primary product for this export is the "Snow Crane Sushi Rice 10 kg package," with an estimated export of 50 containers, totaling around 1,200 tons. Sales channels will cover major Asian supermarkets and chain restaurant brands across Europe. Mayor Chang emphasized that this batch of Yunlin Good Rice has passed over 100 strict food inspections and certifications by the EU, demonstrating the strength and quality of Yunlin agriculture.

Li Yuanhao mentioned that the rice for this export mainly comes from the regions of Erlun and Lunbei, and expressed gratitude to the contracted farmers for their stringent quality control. He also announced the launch of the “Taiwan Quality Rice” promotion project to enhance the brand awareness of Taiwanese rice.

Director Wei Shengde of the Agricultural Bureau stated that this successful expansion into Europe not only enhances the international competitiveness of Taiwanese rice but also serves as a reference case for the export of other agricultural products. The county government will continue to promote the goals of branding, production and sales guidance, and sales resources to help farmers and agricultural enterprises secure a stable position in the global market.
