Canada Badminton Championship: Li Fang-ren and Li Fang-chih Win First Gold

At the BWF Super 300 Canada Badminton Open, Taiwanese twin brothers Li Fang-ren and Li Fang-chih showcased an excellent performance to secure their first championship title at the 300 level.
The final, held on June 6 local time, saw the duo defeating their opponents Chang Ke-chi and Bai Li-wei with scores of 21-19, 21-19. Despite entering the match with a previous record of two wins and four losses, Li Fang-ren and Li Fang-chih turned the tables with a stable performance, especially in the second game when they were trailing 13-17. They rallied with an impressive 8-2 run to clinch the match.
According to the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings, the current top male doubles team from Taiwan is Wang Chi-lin and Chiu Hsiang-chung at 18th place, followed by Lee Jhe-huei and Yang Po-hsuan at 20th, and Li Fang-ren and Li Fang-chih at 22nd.
