Poland's Blueberries Coming to Taiwan! Lin Chia-Lung Discusses Bilateral Cooperation with Polish Legislators

A delegation of Polish lawmakers from the Polish National Assembly's Taiwan-Poland Parliamentary Group visited Taiwan, where Foreign Minister Lin Chia-Lung hosted a luncheon for the visiting group. They exchanged views on Taiwan-Poland bilateral relations, trade cooperation, and cultural exchanges. Lin announced that Taiwan will open its market to Polish fresh blueberries, with recent approvals also allowing Taiwan's mangoes and guavas to enter the European market.
Lin highlighted that Poland, an important EU member, has a thriving economic potential. He called for continued economic cooperation between the two nations and expressed hope that further collaboration in education, technology, and culture would develop. With Taiwan's advanced semiconductor and AI server manufacturing capabilities and Poland's solid educational foundation, there is a significant opportunity for shared growth in the chip industry.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both countries share universal values of freedom and democracy, and they will continue to promote cooperation in various fields and deepen their partner relationship to create lasting prosperity for their peoples.
